Mr. Asimakopoulos Alexandros, CTO of Softweb, gave a revealing interview to thesseconomy.gr and journalist Katsianis George, where he spoke about the innovations and innovative technological solutions that Softweb offers to businesses.
| Softweb since its establishment has carried out many technology projects. Can you give us some details to understand the breadth of your experience in new technologies?
“Since its establishment in 2008, Softweb has implemented more than 1800 technology projects, either medium or large scale, for various clients in different industries. These projects include the development of advanced web and mobile systems.”
| What are the dynamics of Softweb’s development department and what do you consider to be your competitive advantage on a technological level?
“In total, Softweb’s development department consists of a team of 37 skilled professionals, out of the 51 total executives of the company, who staff the respective individual departments… If I could put it in very simple words and one sentence, I would say that “new technologies are in Softweb’s DNA” ”
| What do you consider to be the most important element for a company like yours that is active in business software development to remain competitive and innovative?
“The element that such a company needs is “continuous investment in research and development”. ”
| Blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies have attracted the interest of many businesses. What does Softweb have to say about these trends?
“Our company closely monitors these technologies from their initial stages but applies them at the enterprise software level when they reach a sufficient stage of maturity, as if you exploit them earlier you risk the sustainability of the projects. ”

“The main advantage of Softweb Business Suite (SBS) is that it is the only business software on the market that integrates in one system functionalities that cover the needs of three different types of users: the customer, the partner and the company’s executive. ”
